Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of bin cleaning services by Eco Cleanse (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer (“you”, “your”).

By signing up to our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Agreement

1.1. By registering with Eco Cleanse, you agree to receive a recurring bin cleaning service based on the plan selected at the time of sign-up.
1.2. Services will be carried out on a scheduled basis (e.g. fortnightly or monthly), as agreed during registration.

2. Bin Accessibility

2.1. Bins must be placed clearly outside the property or in a pre-agreed accessible location on the day of service.
2.2. The correct house number must be clearly visible on the bin.
2.3. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure bins are accessible at the scheduled time.
2.4. Failure to present bins may result in:
    1. A missed service, and
    2. A service charge still being applied

3. Missed Services

3.1. If access is not available or bins are not presented correctly, we are not obligated to return until the next scheduled visit.
3.2. No refunds will be issued for missed services due to customer error.

4. Payments

4.1. All payments are collected via monthly Direct Debit.
4.2. Payments are charged regardless of the number of cleans within that billing period.
4.3. If a payment fails:
    1. You will be notified to make manual payment
    2. Service may be suspended until payment is received
4.4. Any outstanding balances must be cleared promptly to continue service.

5. Cancellation & Pausing Service

5.1. You must provide a minimum of 3 days (72 hours) notice to:
    1. Cancel your service
    2. Pause your service
5.2. Notice must be given before your next scheduled clean.
5.3. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in:
    1. The next charge still being applied

6. Service Changes

6.1. We reserve the right to:
    1. Adjust service schedules
    2. Modify routes or timing
    3. Improve operational efficiency
6.2. We will aim to notify customers where reasonably possible.

7. Promotional Offers

7.1. Any promotional offer is valid until 11:59pm on 31st May 2026, unless stated otherwise.
7.2. Offers:
    1. Apply to new customers only (unless stated)
    2. Cannot be combined with other promotions

8. Data Protection & Privacy

8.1. We are committed to protecting your personal information.
8.2. Any personal details you provide (including name, address, contact details, and payment information) will be:
    1. Stored securely
    2. Used only for the purpose of providing our services
    3. Used to contact you regarding your account or service
8.3. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
8.4. Your information may only be shared where necessary to:
    1. Process payments
    2. Comply with legal obligations
8.5. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of your data in accordance with this policy.

9. Liability

9.1. We will carry out services with reasonable care and skill.
9.2. We are not liable for:
    1. Pre-existing damage to bins
    2. Bins not belonging to the property
    3. Issues caused by incorrect placement or obstruction
9.3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:
    1. Death or personal injury caused by negligence
    2. Fraud or misrepresentation

10. Changes to Terms

10.1. We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time.
10.2. The latest version will always apply and be available upon request.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to its jurisdiction.
